Our Story

Started in 1999 by Brad Martyn in Blackstock, Ontario, our journey began with a determination to deliver top-notch excavation services.

Brad’s upbringing surrounded him in heavy equipment and gravel trucks, living adjacent to a family gravel pit. With dirt seemingly in his genes, it was only natural for him to embark on a path that led to the excavation industry. After high school and with the support of a few dedicated mentors, he started his own business, initially with only a single tractor and pickup truck.

Over the years, Martyn Mini Hoe has evolved from its modest beginnings into a thriving team of professionals, including highly experienced operators, some of whom have been with us since almost the beginning. With over two decades of industry experience, we remain dedicated to our mission: delivering excellence in all of our work.
